Perfect replacement. Comes with good installation documentation. It comes with a test against counterfeit knock-offs.

These have always worked pretty well for me and filter the water as they should. In the beginning when it’s first installed I get a small amount of black flakes sometimes, but after flushing the filter based on the directions, I no longer see the flakes. The water doesn’t have an unusual or bad taste. Even though they are more expensive compared to the generics, I’ll continue buying them as I’m satisfied with the product.

Only brand I buy.

Installed in my Samsung French door fridge, fits perfectly as it should. Removes the chlorine I can taste and some other crap that I can’t. Price is much better than the big box store starting with “L” where I bought the fridge. Get this one!

You look online and there’s an ocean of filters available. How do you justify 50 or $60 for a filter when there’s $15-$18 filters on the market it’s what they filter out and how well they do it.. I’ve tried changing to cheaper filters. All they do is give you peace of mind that you saved money, but you’re still ingesting. What’s not filtered out. I did some research and went back to the Samsung genuine water filter when you look at what does filter removes that the others don’t it’s well worth the money! Plus my ice cube maker appreciates it! My ice is crystal clear now. Under previous cheaper filters they’re cloudy. If you wanna know what your filter is doing look at your ice cubes. If your icemaker stop dropping ice that’s probably because the minerals have adhered to the ice making tray. That’s a sign the filters aren’t doing anything you pay for what you get. I highly recommend the Samsung filter for the level of filtration it provides over the competition.
